“Jealousy” is essentially a break-up song that doesn't dwell on your typical anxiety & heartbreak. It is an uplifting indie rock anthem that guides the listener through the story of a relationship gone sour, with the narrator in a seemingly state of bliss throughout, and is ultimately content at the conclusion. The verse and chorus guitars recall indie power pop & classic rock songs, with a bouncy beat & rhythm that propels the listener from beginning to end.

The single art image of two dragonflies is a simple way to show how one living thing can envy another.
